“It’s just chilling.” That’s what the law enforcement officer said when he came upon an intruder in an Orange County, Florida swimming pool.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from a homeowner panicked over a four-foot alligator cooling off in the backyard swimming pool. Unable (or unwilling) to confront the intruder, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission was called in. They expertly removed the alligator and relocated it to the St. John’s river.

No charges were filed.
