He was the big voice on the right.  And, when it comes to real estate deals, he’s really right.  He bought a beautiful waterfront swimming pool in Florida and the house that went with it for just under $4 million.

He loved the pool, the beach and the laidback attitude even though the hatching baby turtles crawling down to the water seemed to bring the Palm Beach area to a standstill.

Still, he acquired a few neighboring lots, built 4 additional homes for guests and moved from New York to live there full time in 2010.  He called it Southern Command where he would talk about America to millions of people every day.

His backyard bay features a stunning ocean view and a beautiful rectangular swimming pool where you can kick back, get some rays and feel the warm ocean breezes on your face.  That home is being shopped today and experts say it will fetch over $150 million.

At the time of his death, Rush’s income was estimated at $33 million per year with a net worth of over $600 million.

His Palm Beach home was 34,000 square feet with 7 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms with a putting green and a rectangular shaped swimming pool facing the ocean.  Rush’s widow, Katheryn is exploring a sale with estimates as high as $175 million for the 2.7 acres.
