This pool is huge! It holds over 6 million gallons of water. It’s as long as six football fields, over 2.000 feet. It’s 167 feet wide. It took 11 truckloads of dirt and trash to clean it up. Then, the pool company went to work. They scrubbed it down, sandblasted it, caulked it and fixed all the leaks. They are in the final phase resurfacing this pool and refilling it. It should be finished by the 4th of July this year.
Can you believe over 300 million dollars were allocated for this project? The construction time was supposed to be 3 years by the construction company that was going to do the project. But, the builder, who had built over 100 pools in his day knew who to call. He brought in a swimming pool expert to get it done much faster and for a fraction of the cost using swimming pool materials.
